Rather than using Chris Jericho and Big Show to elevate the tag team division (that is basically non-existent), they are using them to elevate other nonsensical, makeshift tag teams like MVP and Mark Henry. More than likely, this is going to lead to a title run for MVP and Mark Henry or a feud between the two.
The first of those options does no good for either because the tag team division has absolutely no depth for them to compete with at this point. The latter scenario could be beneficial, but would be a very quick end to Mark Henry’s babyface run that I personally believe people are enjoying.
I’d actually be okay with that if it elevated MVP at the end of the day and that could be possible given the fact Henry’s face run actually made people care about him a little more.
