DOWN A STEP: RAW, IN GENERAL
I really feel like Raw missed the boat last night opting not to capitalize on Brett DiBiase’s run-in at SummerSlam. They mentioned it, explained it, and introduced Brett to the Raw audience, but it should have been more than that. Now, I still believe they will utilize Brett more in the future and his involvement with Legacy and the inevitable depature of Ted from the group will increase. However, SummerSlam sparked a lot of interest and WWE really seemed to dismiss that entire angle.
It was nice to see Vince back in the ring and Raw was an entertaining show overall, in my opinion, but I guess I was expecting more following the second biggest pay per view of the year; a pay per view that delivered in more ways than one. Yet, the WWE didn’t follow up the following night on Raw.
