The ‘Real’ FBI/WWE, Helms Injury Update, Trish, More

The Wilkes-Barre Times-Leader, a newspaper out of Wilkes-Barre, PA, actually contacted the FBI to confirm whether or not they were called in to investigate Vince McMahonâ<80><99>s limousine exploding at the end of RAW on Monday. Special agent spokesman Jerri Williams from the FBIâ<80><99>s Philadelphia office told the publication, â<80><9c>The â<80>~federal agentâ<80><99> (referenced on the WWE.com Web site) is definitely not the FBIâ<80>¦ We have not been made aware of any car bombings. â<80>¦ We would definitely have been informed.â<80> Several media outlets including Broadcasting & Cable have ran articles questioning the thought process behind WWE running such an angle. One can only hope that WWE does not suffer extreme backlash for pulling a â<80><9c>hoaxâ<80> although itâ<80><99>s amazing to me that so many people could think that this was actually legitimate and not a work.

Gregory Helms has updated his blog on his official MySpace.com website. In it, he talks about the drive that is in professional wrestlers and how they take pain that would land an ordinary person in the hospital and work through it. Helms noted that the day after his neck fusion surgery that he walked a mile, which proves that he is extremely tough. You can check out his blog in its entirety at www.myspace.com/gshelms.

Remember that former WWE Womenâ<80><99>s Champion Trish Stratus will be a presenter at the NHL Awards tomorrow in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
