Over the last few weeks, Matt Boone and I have been working with several different people about producing Wrestle Zone Radio LIVE each and every Tuesday night. There have been numerous issues during this process, including bandwidth problems, site issues, schedule conflicts, and a load more that we wont even get into. During our last run, we had the most traffic EVER in the history of the show. When you’ve got numbers in the thousands of listeners tuning in plus website traffic at the same time, the server just cannot handle it. Due to this, there were bills costing in excess of $1,000 a month. Obviously due to this, we had to cut back on what we did and the show was taken back offline.
This is the deal – The Voice of Wrestling show, from what I’m being told, is set to return on May 23rd. If all goes well on that front (which is likely), then WZR should return possibly the next night or the week after that. I did recently take a trip to Florida and met with Matt Boone about the show and we are both definitely looking forward to returning for all of you. We are scheduled to put a live stream on the ProWrestlingScoops.com server in the next few weeks and if all goes well, we’ll be up and running.
So we hope that once again you’ll stick with us during this time. You guys have all been loyal visitors for such a long time and we’d hate to lose you now. We’ll be back, better than ever. A break, that was unexpected to say the least, can also be considered good and a refresher for the entire crew at WZR. We’ll see you “in about a month” (you like that, huh?!?!) for the RETURN of WrestleZone Radio.
