Billy Gunn was the guest in the second of the daily series of WrestleMania Moments leading up to WrestleMania 28. He spoke about many topics from his Favorite Moment, predictions for this year, his thoughts on a possible Hall of Fame Induction and much more.

His favorite WrestleMania Moment: “All of them, it’s hard to pick out just one. They were all special in their own right, because one; you’re in it and especially when me and Brian were in them as the New Age Outlaws, that match (WrestleMania 14 vs. Mick Foley & Terry Funk in a Dumpster Match) was one of my great moments and the defining moment for the New Age Outlaws, people remember that match and the skits, just putting them in the thing and chucking them off the stage was a sight itself.”

What WrestleMania means to him: “It’s the greatest show anybody can ever attend, it is the premier event of the year in anything. To me, it’s better than the Superbowl, the World Series, anything you can think of because there is so much that goes into it. It’s planned year-to-year it’s not something you do at the end of the year and get a trophy for it, you’re planning all year long and when you have that much time to plan for something and do something it’s just a spectacle and one of the greastest things on the planet and not only being in it but feeling the energy from the fans there’s nothing I could say to explain it. I was lucky to be in a couple of them, it’s unbelievable, a lot, a lot of fun.”

On wrestling this year’s HOF inductee Yokozuna at WrestleMania XI: “I think that’s one of the best things that’s gonna happen, and Ron Simmons, not that anybody else doesn’t deserver it but they are two people who belong in there. People know how big Yoko’ was but he could move and could do things just don’t see 500/600 pound guys do and that was our first WrestleMania and Yok’ was a great person.”

His pick for The Rock v John Cena: “I got a place in my heart for The Rock, ’cause I beat him up a bunch (laughts), and I got a place in my heart for John Cena, ’cause I beat him up a bunch too. If it was up to me I’d go John Cena, he’s been keeping that company up for 10 years and even though they are in Rock’s hometown but all in all the whole WrestleMania will amazing. Triple H & Undertaker will steal the show, with the Hell in a Cell and three of the greatest guys and that ring will hold three of the greatest of all time and that will only bring out greatness.”

If he got the call to return to WrestleMania for a Hall of Fame induction: “It would mean that people took notice of what we did, we tried to entertain and do the best we could do and we gave the best, it would be the highlight of my career and there’s been a few of them that I could brag about and to go in there with Brian (Road Dogg) would be phenomonal, I just don’t have the words for it.”
