TMZ.com is reporting the following, concerning former WWE star Maven Huffman:

Former WWE superstar Maven Huffman has agreed to seek professional help in the hopes of kicking his prescription drug addiction … and he's getting some help from his old pals at the WWE.

Maven's attorney, James Flynn, tells TMZ … the 35-year-old has agreed to participate in the WWE's "Former Talent Rehab Program" … after he was arrested last month for wrongfully obtaining more than 1000 pills of prescription painkillers.

"Yes, Maven is planning on working with the WWE and he was really impressed by their gesture to assist him" … the lawyer tells us.

As we previously reported, the WWE says it will pay for 100% of any rehab or treatment program for former WWE wrestlers … as long as the wrestler wants the help.

Maven's attorney adds, "It is Maven's sincere hope to use his experience to aid in the prevention of substance abuse and serve as an example to his fellow wrestlers and community at large."
