Impact Wrestling Results (4/26) – Open Fight Night, TNA Gut Check, Eric Bischoff’s Farewell

Mexican America comes out to the ring and Anarchia says they are pissed about not being involved in the tag title championship match because no one can beat them. He says it can be one man or a team, and asks if anyone is going to take a shot at them, then Kurt Angle is shown backstage walking to the ring. Anarchia says Hernandez will fight Kurt, then they get ready for the bell but Anarchia attacks him from behind and declares himself the legal man.

Anarchia hits Kurt a few times and whips him into the corner, but Kurt dodges a clothesline and hits a release German suplex. Kurt gets up and hits an Angle Slam, then rolls over and gets Anarchia to tap out to the ankle lock.

TNA Gut Check
Alex Silva vs Robbie E (w/ Rob Terry)

After a video package on Alex Silva, Al Snow comes to the ring with Silva and says he is the lead judge for TNA Gut Check. He says they will give guys like Silva a chance once a month to try and earn a spot on the roster. Snow says they are giving the young blood a chance to succeed, and he tells people at home how they can apply. Snow asks if he is ready for his opponent and Silva says yes, then Robbie E comes out with Rob Terry and mouths off to Silva and shoves him. Robbie slaps Silva in the face, but Silva slaps him back and hits a clothesline for a two count, then Robbie returns a clothesline and kicks him in the corner. Robbie hits a running elbow and a bodyslam, then he continues to taunt Silva and bodyslams him again before going up top. Silva avoids an elbow drop and hits a spinning powerslam for two, then Robbie connects with an elevated DDT for the win.
