Impact Wrestling Results (7/5) – X Division Tournament Bracket Finalized, Hardy/Storm, Aries Relinquishes X Division Title

Hardy dives on him on the floor and the ref starts a ten count, but they make it back in at nine and Storm pulls himself up and hits a running clothesline. The ref starts another count but Storm gets up at six, then he attempts a corner splash but Hardy rolls away and hits a corner mule kick. Hardy goes up top but Storm avoids a Swanton, then Storm climbs the turnbuckles and he hits a top rope elbow drop for a close two count. Storm goes for a Last Call but Hardy has trouble standing, then Storm picks him up and goes to kick him but Hardy counters with a Twist of Fate for the win.

Winner – Jeff Hardy

Hulk Hogan comes out and says it's time for Austin Aries to come out there, but Bobby Roode walks out and Hulk says he better not cross him. Hulk says he wanted Aries out there, but Roode says he is a real world champion and Aries only got a title shot because Hulk bought into the hype. Roode says "option C" will fail, and all Hulk did was make false promises to Aries and the fans. He says he will end Aries' career on Sunday, and the blood is going to be on Hulk's hands. Aries makes his way out and he says Roode thinks he can come out whenever he wants, and it's a reoccuring theme but he will let him enjoy it. He says he has three more days before he takes his title, then he tells Roode they have three options they can choose right now.

Aries says he can run and hide and hand over his title later, or he hand over the title and tell Hulk he will wait until Sunday. He says he's a fan of "option C" and they can fight now, because Roode started with him last week and said that this was his ring. Aries gets inhis face and tells him to bring it, but Roode turns around and says he's not worth it. Aries picks up a mic and says he thought Roode would do that, then Roode tries to cheap shot him with his title. Aries ducks and hits Roode with his title, then he hands the X Division title to Hulk and celebrates with the Heavyweight title.
