WWE Summerslam Results (8/19) – Y2J/Ziggler, The “Perfect Storm” Hits Hard, Does Punk Earn Respect?

Sheamus goes for some mounted punches but Alberto snaps his head down on the top rope, then he hits a jumping enziguiri in the corner for a two count. Ricardo jumps on the apron and can't believe Sheamus kicked out, then Alberto pulls Ricardo in the ring and throws him on the ground. The ref tries to get Ricardo out of the ring and he throws Alberto one of his shoes, but it goes over Alberto's head and Sheamus catches it instead. Sheamus hits him in the face with it then follows with an Irish Curse backbreaker, and Alberto gets his foot on the ropes but Sheamus knocks it off. Ricardo and Alberto flip out on the ref and tell him what happened, but he says he didn't see it and Sheamus is still announced as the winner of the match.

Prime Time Players vs Kofi Kingston & R-Truth

Truth punches Darren in the face and drops him with a hiptoss, then he dances around and hits a legdrop for a two count. Truth tries to pick him up but Darren kicks him in the stomach, then Darren picks him up and throws him in his corner before making a tag. Titus barks and puts him in a front facelock, then he punches Truth in the back and taunts him before hitting the ropes. Truth surprises him with a side kick, then Kofi tags in and hits a sprongboard kick and a flying forearm shot. Kofi hits a Boom Drop and calls for Trouble In Paradise, but Darren distracts him on the apron and Titus rolls outside. Kofi goes after Darren but Titus runs over and hits him from behind, then Truth runs over and tries to help his partner but the ref sends him to his corner.

Titus rolls him in and hits a front slam for a two count, then Darren tags in and Titus suplexes him onto Kofi for another near fall. Kofi counters a side suplex with a corss body pin attempt, then Darren bodyslams him and Titus gets back in and puts him in an abdominal stretch. Kofi breaks the hold and counters a swinging side slam with a DDT, then they both tag out and Truth clotheslines Darren a few times. Truth hits a spinning elbow and a sitout facebuster, then Titus breaks up the pin attempt and throws Kofi outside, but Kofi skins the cat and avoids a clothesline. Kofi dives on Titus on the floor while Truth avoids a fireman's carry slam, then he turns Darren around and hits What's Up for the win.
