WWE Smackdown Results (9/7) – New Tag Title Contenders, Wade Barrett Returns, Booker T Bans Brogue Kick

Teddy Long is talking to Kaitlyn when Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero walk past him, and they try to leave but Teddy tells them to hold up. He says he's not going anywhere, and Dolph says he wants another match with Randy Orton because Orton attacked him tonight and it was unprovoked. Dolph says he wants it to happen at Night of Champions, but Teddy says Dolph isn't a champion so he should hold that thought. Teddy says every match doesn't have to necessarily be a championship match, so he'll recommend it to Booker T. Dolph walks away and says he may be champion by then, and Vickie tells Teddy he may get sued for everything too, then they walk away.

Wade Barrett vs Yoshi Tatsu

Wade throws a few jabs but Yoshi ducks and pulls him into the corner, then Wade elbows him and knees him in the face near the ropes. Wade backs up and kicks him in the face, then he taunts the fans and gets a near fall before hitting some kidney punches and a headbutt. He tries to pick Yoshi up off the mat but he gets kicked in the head, then Yoshi goes for a spinning heel kick but Wade stuns him with a back kick. Wade stands over Yoshi and pulls him up by the head, then he holds him arm and throws him into the ropes but pulls him back and elbows him for the win.

Winner – Wade Barrett

Wade takes the mic after the bell and says he wants to make things perfectly clear, and he has no interest in being in meaningless matches like this. He says he is bored with this, and he was away long enough where he needs to be thrust into the spotlight and into the title hunt. Wade says if it won't happen quickly he will make things very interesting for himself, then he says he is officially open for business before walking out.
