On Tuesday evening, I conducted an exclusive interview with Shelly Ehler on TribLIVE Radio.
Ehler is the mother who was reported about on TMZ as she was upset her 8-year-old son's sign was ripped up courtesy of Alberto Del Rio at a WWE Live Event. Del Rio then went on to mock her son's crying.
I spoke to Ehler about the situation. I also explained to her the wrestling side of it. We discussed the different sides of the issue. She also talked about her exchange with Sheamus on Twitter via direct message.
I want to say that I am very appreciative of Mrs. Ehler for agreeing to speak with me. I openly told her before we began recording as well as during the recorded conversation that I didn't agree with her view of the situation. I still don't agree, but I do have a better understanding of her viewpoint based on the circumstances. I think this reminds us that there are consistently new fans attending an event who interpret things differently.
