WWE RAW Results (2/18) – Vickie’s New Assistant & Surprise, Punk Challenges Cena, Rock’s Championship Celebration

Jack Swagger (w/ Zeb Coulter) vs Daniel Bryan

We join the match in progress to see Bryan counter a backdrop with a rollup for two, then Bryan goes for a surfboard stretch but Swagger throws him back. Bryan kicks him in the corner and dropkicks his knees, then he goes for a cover before snapping Swagger's arm across his shoulder. Bryan hits the ropes but Swagger tackles him outside, then Swagger tries to throw him into the ringpost but Bryan floats over and sends Swagger into it. He goes for a running dive off the apron but Swagger catches him and sends him into the barricade, then he rolls Bryan back in and biel throws him across the ring. Swagger knees Bryan in the stomach and hits a Swagger Bomb for two, then he sets up a clothesline but Bryan elbows him in the head.

Bryan punches him a few times but Swagger whips him across the ring, then Bryan runs up the turnbuckles and kicks Swagger in the face. Swagger runs at him but Bryan pulls the ropes down, then Swagger crashes outside and Bryan follows him and hits a suicide dive near the barricade. Bryan rolls him in and connects with a missile dropkick for two, then he repeatedly kicks him in the chest until Swagger responds with a front slam. Swagger tries to pin him but Bryan counters with a NO! Lock, then Swagger makes it to the ropes so Bryan sets up a running dropkick. Swagger avoids it and Bryan hits the turnbuckles, then Swagger chopblocks Bryan's knees and gets him to tap to the Patriot Lock.

Vickie Guerrero is with Paul Heyman in the ring, and she says she will be naming a new assistant, but Heyman tells just to get to the point. Vickie announces Brad Maddox as her new assistant, then Maddox mocks Heyman before telling him his new job is a reward for his loyalty to WWE. Maddox says Vince McMahon was so happy that he exposed Heyman and The Shield that he gave Maddox a job, then Maddox and Vickie argue over his job title. (Cont'd…)
