The show opens with a pre-recorded video package of Bully Ray explaining his diabolical plan over the course of the last year.
Hulk Hogan makes his way to the ring to a great ovation from the Chicago crowd. He talks about the Aces & Eights foolling him, his family and all the fans. Hogan welcomes his favorite guys who got their asses kicked last week: Samoa Joe, Magnus, Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy. The Hulkster asks Jeff Hardy if he's still up for a rematch after the attacks over the past few weeks. Hardy says the "creatures" need the World Title match and he's ready, but just in case he wants a 4-way match. Hogan books the match for tonight's main event, with the winner getting Bully Ray for the World Title.
TNA World Tag Team Championship
Bobby Roode & Austin Aries (c) vs. Chavo & Hernandez
Chavo goes on the offense early using his speed to take Roode off his feet. Hernandez tags in, but gets backed into the heel corner and choked as the ref is distracted. Roode and Aries trade off with quick tags until Supermex counters a tag team suplex into a double suplex of his own. Chavo tags in and sends the champs rolling to the outside as we head to a commercial break.
Aries has Chavo grounded after the break as Roode distracts Earl Hebner for some heelish chokes and rope-usage out of his partner. Bobby tags in and takes Chavo up to the top rope, but Guerrero counters and plants the champion with a DDT. The hot tags are made on both sides and Supermex bullies Austin around the ring. Roode wants nothing to do with the big man, but gets thrown back into the ring anyways. Hernandez leaves the ring and walks all the way up the entrance ramp, getting a running start to launch himself over the top rope right on to both men.
Chavo heads up to the top rope and Hernandez hoists Aries into the air for a powerbomb, but Austin counters and sends the big man to the outside. He attemps the Brainbuster on Guerrero, but Chavo counters it into the Three Amigos. Bad Influence arrive at ringside to distract the referee for some reason, and Aries rolls up Chavo with a handful of tights for the three-count.
Results: Roode & Aries retain via pinfall
After the match, Bad Influence clears the ring of the challengers and takes out the champions. They pose with the title and leave them laying in the center of the ring.
