John Cena realizes he's desperate now, and immediately attacks Ambrose in the corner. The Shield attacks him with all three guys, but Cena clears the ring of Ambrose and Reigns. Powerslam connects on Seth Rollins, followed by the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Reigns and Ambrose once again go over the ropes, and Seth Rollins takes the Attitude Adjustment for the 1-2-3.

Roman Reigns spears John Cena as the referee is trying to tell him he's not the legal man. He keeps attacking Cena and Reigns gets himself DQ'd.

Dean Ambrose rolls back into the ring and covers the knocked out Cena – 1…2…No, he kicks out! John Cena locks in the STF but The Shield comes back and attacks the WWE Champion causing the ref to throw it out.

After the match, The Shield picks up Cena and hits him with the triple powerbomb. After they leave, Ryback makes his way out and stands on top of his PPV opponent. He leaves the ring and grabs a steel chair, smashing away at Cena's injured knee.
