5/16 TNA Impact Wrestling Results – Sting & Bully Ray Sign World Heavyweight Title Contract for Slammiversary

D'Lo Brown vs. Joseph Park

D'Lo is in control of the match from the start, hitting Park with a scoop slam and a fairly athletic Shining Wizard. Park moves out of the way of a corner splash, sending Brown head first into the turnbuckle. D'Lo comes back with a clothesline in the corner, and goes to work with half a dozen right hands, busting open the Chicago lawyer. Park pulls himself back to his feet, and realizes he's bleeding. He goes into a crazed state, and takes down D'Lo with a series of clotheslines. Black Hole Slam connects for the win.

Winner: Joseph Park

The World Heavyweight Championship contract signing is up next.

J.B. is in the ring with a podium, setting up for this contract signing. He introduces World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray first, who throws him out of the ring (literally) and kills his music. Bully paces around the ring asking us if we know who he is. He calls himself the guy who beat Jeff Hardy at his own game, defeated him in Full Metal Mayhem. But this isn't a contract signing, it's more of a negotiation.

Sting makes his way out next. Bully says that isn't enough, and calls out Hulk Hogan as well, who comes down and stands on the entrance ramp. The champ says this is the first time he's been face to face with them since he screwed over Sting; since he screwed over Hogan; and especially since he screwed over Hogan's daughter.

The Icon says he doesn't care about an appology. He tells Bully that when they get to Boston, he should take his arm and snap it in half. He should rip his knee cap off, and take his eyes out and make him bleed. Because if Bully doesn't do that to him, The Icon is going to in their match. And he doesn't care if it's in the ring, or in the back, or in the rafters, or the concession stands…he is going to make the champion bleed at Slammiversary. He says he didn't have any demands, but now he does: he wants a No Holds Barred match in Boston.

Bully says Sting can have a No Holds Barred match…on one condition. When Bully wins the match, and beats Sting, he can never, ever wrestle for the World Championship ever again. Hogan tries to interrupt, but Bully says he's not done yet. He tells Sting he's not forcing him to retire, because he wants to have to wrestle for the rest of his life, knowing he can never wear the title around his waist again. Hogan tells Sting he doesn't have to sign that contract.

Sting signs the contract, and beats the hell out of Bully Ray. Impact goes off the air as the two brawl around the ring.
