A Note on CM Punk Still Being Advertised for WWE Dates
Several fans have sent in word that CM Punk is still being advertised, in local commercials in the Chicago area, for WWE's Raw taping in Chicago on March 3rd. As we have been reporting the past several days, Punk continues to pop up on WWE advertising for various shows, events, and appearances, but these ads should all be taken with a grain of salt.
Punk still being advertised for WWE events is more likely an oversight on the company's part and not an indication that the whole CM Punk situation is a work. There is the possibility that WWE hopes Punk will be back in time for some of the events he's still being advertised for, but each day Punk is disappearing from more and more WWE related promo material, which is an indication that removing Punk from ads takes time, and not so much an indication that the company is working the fans.
