Top Merchandise Movers in WWE, Powerlifter to Start WWE Training Soon, DGUSA Shoots Down WWE “Invasion Angle” Speculation

DGUSA Shoots Down WWE Rumors

Apparently WWE posting a Ring of Honor article on WWE.com yesterday has sparked speculation that WWE is now working with Dragon Gate USA, currently booked by Gabe Sapolsky. In response to this speculation Sapolsky has issued the following:

"We were as surprised as anyone when WWE called Gabe last week for quotes. WWE.com used most of the material Sapolsky gave them in the 30 minute interview. However, don't read too much into this. It is just an article at WWE.com to give the site some unique and outside-the-box material. This is not a sign of any type of a working relationship or an 'invasion angle.'"

Powerlifter to Start WWE Training Soon

According to The Wrestling Observer, Independent wrestler and powerlifter Brian Reid, who worked in California as Brian Tannen, starts training with WWE developmental on February 17th.

Top WWE Merchandise Movers

According to The Wrestling Observer, John Cena, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Sin Cara and The Ultimate Warrior are said to be amongst the current top merchandise movers in the company. With regards to Sin Cara, we previously noted that the company continues to use his character as he's a top merchandise mover, however it remains to be seen what the future holds for the character in WWE as the original Sin Cara is claiming he owns the rights to the persona.
