Why WWE is Running a 2 Hour 'Mania Pre-Show

According to PWInsider.com, WWE is running a two hour WrestleMania pre-show in order to get people to sign up for the WWE Network to watch 'Mania.

The first hour of the pre-show, as we noted yesterday, will be broadcast from 5-6pm EST on the WWE website, with the 6-7pm portion of the pre-show airing on the WWE Network. The hope in WWE is that people will watch the first hour on WWE.com, and then sign up for the Network to watch the rest of the show and WrestleMania.
