Update On Possible War Games Match In WWE

There has been speculation for a while of WWE utilizing the old WCW War Games format. The Shield battling The Wyatt Family continue to come up as the participants when this possibility is talked about.

WWE has most of their pay-per-view/special event arenas booked for this year and no arena between now and SummerSlam could fit the two ring setup that War Games requires. However, Battleground will be held in the Tampa Bay Times Forum and it does have enough room to accommodate for the match.

Former Spirit Squad Member Works Dark Match

Mike Mondo who was known as Mikey in the Spirit Squad has resurfaced with WWE. After appearing on the independent scene and with Ring of Honor, Mondo made his first WWE appearance since 2008. He worked a dark match last night in Hershey, PA before the SmackDown taping where he lost Mondo to Bo Dallas.

He tweeted:
