-Backstage, Vickie Guerrero gets a call from The Authority. She says she will do what's “best for business” and take the night off. Brad Maddox shows up and says he's taking over for the night, and has a few demands for The Shield.
-The Wyatt Family comes down to the ring, and the drop a steel cage down around them. Bray Wyatt says that the fans turned on John Cena on Raw when they picked him to fight all three of them. He tells Cena to stop underestimating him, and he's more than just words. Bray says they meet at Extreme Rules inside a steel cage, like modern day gladiators fighting for the respect of the people. He climbs to the top of the cage and signs his song to end that segment.
Erick Rowan & Luke Harper vs. Cody Rhodes & Goldust
Goldust starts things off taking it to Rowan with stiff right hands. Cody tags in but gets leveled by a clothesline. Bray Wyatt has a live mic during the match, yelling things out to the crowd from his rocking chair. The Family tags in and out quickly, picking apart Rhodes in their corner. Cody tries for a springboard crossbody, but is caught in the air and slammed hard into the mat.
Goldust is knocked off the apron, so when Cody finally hits the Disaster Kick he has nobody to tag. Finally he does make the hot tag and Goldust slaps Harper across the face. In comes Rowan, who takes an atomic drop. Goldust comes off the top turnbuckle with a crossbody to both members of the Wyatt Family. Goldy with a snap powerslam, but Harper breaks up the pin attempt.
Cody Rhodes hits the ring and tries for a moonsault off the top rope, but Harper throws Goldust into him, and Cody goes flying into the barricade. Harper with a lariat to Goldust for the 1-2-3.
