The Authority gathers the roster on the stage for a state of address, and they talk about not having a current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and how dissappointing Daniel Bryan has been. Stephanie says Bryan misrepresented the roster, and Triple H says Bryan's heart is what got him in trouble, and the WWE Universe deserves better than the champion they recently had. They say the next world champion may be in the ring, and they are about opportunities, so they will get to compete in a battle royal tonight. HHH says it's not for everyone, and he is banning Superstars who fail to adapt, and they are Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose… and John Cena. HHH says Cena shouldn't get too excited because he will get a match, and Cena loves to help people, so he can help them. HHH says they promised a certain match a few weeks ago, but Bryan got injured so it didn't happen, and Cena will take his place in a stretcher match against Kane.

BP: This didn't really need to be as long as it was, because nothing important was really said until the last two or three minutes. I totally expect the Stretcher Match to have a dirty finish, but it should get a decent amount of time for it to be entertaining.

Dolph Ziggler vs Seth Rollins

Dolph goes for a neckbreaker but Rollins hits an enziguiri, then he goes for a curbstomp but Dolph steps away and hits a DDT for two. Dolph goes for a Famouser but Rollins blocks it, then Dolph goes for a rollup before he applies a sleeperhold and transitions to a waistlock. He hits a Famouser off the ropes for another near fall, then he goes for a Zig Zag but Rollins sidesteps him and attempts a moonsault off the ropes. Dolph ducks and goes for another DDT, but Rollins catches him and powerbombs him into the turnbuckles, then he repeatedly punches him in the head and picks him back up. Rollins powerbombs him into the turnbuckles again and hits a Curb Stomp, then he goes for the cover but Dean Ambrose runs in and breaks up the pin.

Winner (by disqualification) – Seth Rollins

Ambrose says he isn't going to stop until he gets his hands on Rollins, so he should come back to the ring and get this over with. Ambrose says Rollins doesn't do anything without Triple H's permission but he should just save himself the time, but HHH appears on the Titantron and stops him. HHH says Ambrose wants to fight and that's good, but he has some bad news, because he is going to face Wade Barrett right now.
