Knockouts Championship
Gail Kim vs Angelina Love (c) (w/ Velvet Sky)
Gail hits Angelina with a few forearms, then Angelina rolls outside but Gail knocks her off the apron and screams at Velvet to get out of the way. Velvet waits for Gail to go after Angelina to shove her into the ringpost, then Angelina tries to steal it with a rollup before tying her in the ropes. Angelina kicks her in the back and sends her outside, then she distracts the new ref (Brian Hebner) while Velvet drops Gail with a clothesline. Angelina puts Gail in the tree of woe position and kicks her, then Velvet tries to interfere again but Gail chokes her and pulls her hair.
Velvet snaps Gail's head down on the ropes and the ref finally throws her out, then Angelina flips out and goes back after Gail. She almost gets rolled up but kicks out, then Gail connects with some clotheslines and whips her into the corner. Gail hits a diving crossbody and a top rope missile dropkick for two, then Angelina catches her with a jawbreaker but Gail knocks her back down with a legsweep. She heads up top but Angelina blasts her with a Botox Injection on the turnbuckles, knocking Gail out to the floor, then she demands the ref start counting before deciding to roll Gail back in. Angelina gets a near fall and goes for a second Botox Injection, but Gail blocks it and hits Eat Defeat for the win.
Winner and NEW TNA Knockouts Champion – Gail Kim
BP: This was a good match that got a decent amount of time. The match pretty much had two stages, with and without Velvet. Gail and Angelina worked well together, and Velvet's interference was well placed and not overbooked. It will be interesting to see how TBP tries to get the title back and where they go from here.
TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Eric Young vs Bobby Lashley (c)
Referee Earl Hebner immediate throws both Bobby Roode and MVP out after MVP gets caught trying to interfere, then Lashley and Eric slug it out. Lashley charges the corner but Eric sidesteps him, then Eric invites him to fight outside and instead plays possum. Eric teases a piledriver but Lashley hits some shoulder blocks in the corner, then Eric punches him and heads up top, only to have Lashley dump him on the floor. Lashley brings him back in and hits him a few times, then he applies a heel hook before whipping him in the corner. Eric kicks him in the face and dropkicks him, then he heads up top and trades punches with Lashley before he hits an elbow drop. Eric goes for a piledriver but can't lift Lashley, then Lashley hits a Dominator and follows with a spear for the win.
Winner – Bobby Lashley
BP: No complaints here. The interference was prevented from the start, and it was a good match that featured some good psychology. Lashley gets a lot of flack from certain people, but he's a good wrestler and has MVP to talk for him.
