WWE Officially Signs Indy Wrestler

indy wrestlerAccording to PWInsider.com, WWE has officially signed indy wrestler Willie Mack based out of California.

Mack had his indy farewell at a Pro Wrestling Guerrilla event in Reseda, California over the weekend, and he is expected to be reporting to the WWE Performance Center soon.

Low Rating Expected for Raw Tonight

While a lower rating is expected anytime WWE airs Raw on a holiday, The Labor Day holiday is especially rough on WWE TV, especially the first hour of Raw, according to F4WOnline.com.

It won’t help that beginning next week, WWE Raw will be going head-to-head with Monday Night Football, and there are two games WWE will be competing with that night as a double-header Monday Night Football broadcast will be taking place.

Foley Appearing on TV This Week

WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley will be appearing on the September 6th episode of Me-TV’s “Svengoolie”, a weekly series which airs old Universal horror films. The show also features segments before, during and after the screening with special guest segments.

Jerry Lawler, Jim Cornette and Lisa Marie Varon have all appeared on the show in the past.
