There was a backstage segment somewhere with Nikki Bella, AJ Lee, and Paige. I kind of tuned out but basically AJ and Paige made it clear that this match should be about them. Nikki responded that a victory might be much easier than she originally thought.
6 – Chris Jericho & Roman Reigns d. Randy Orton & Seth Rollins
Main event tag match. Shocker. No, this was a solid bout. Jericho/Orton and Reigns/Rollins matches are taking place at Night of Champions now, so it makes sense. Reigns knocked Rollins into the crowd and beat him up there while Jericho scored the pin on Orton after countering his DDT from the ropes. Good guys celebrate and that’s a night.
I probably would have enjoyed the show (and the main event) more if the idiot behind us would have refrained from screaming half the time about how much he hates Roman Reigns. His expert analysis was that Reigns can’t sell and looks bad in the ring. I guess I should have been honored to have such an esteemed wrestling expert sitting behind me but I wasn’t. People like that tend to ruin good things.
