Update on Triple H/Good Morning America Segment, Kevin Owens Talks NXT Debut; Compares Full Sail University to PWG

Triple H Bumped from GMA

Triple_h.JPGAs we reported earlier today, Triple H was scheduled to appear on Good Morning America this morning to talk about the picture of him breaking character on Monday Night Raw. Unfortunately, producers decided to bump “The Game” from the schedule, and he was not used on the show.

Owens Talks NXT, Triple H & More

Kevin Owens was recently interviewed by journeyofafrontman.com, and talked about making his NXT debut, working with many of the talents he worked with on the independent scene, wrestling out of Full Sail University and more.

Owens made his debut against CJ Parker at NXT Takeover: R Evolution in a big way, and had a lot of praise for his premiere WWE opponent.

“CJ Parker’s probably the best guy we have here that hasn’t been prominently featured on NXT, for whatever reason. He’s one of those kinds of people that no matter where they are or what they’re doing, they’re gonna find a way to make it work and shine. Eventually he’ll have his time. Our match was ten minutes or so and he made the best of it. He broke my nose two minutes in. A lot of people had a lot of things to say about him breaking my nose, but in a way, he made a huge statement. I think CJ Parker is a big part of the future. He’s as good as anybody I’ve ever been in the ring with, in all honesty.”

He also noted the extreme difference in how segments are produced in WWE, and how much time and effort go into planning even the shortest of vignettes.

“The vignettes are thirty seconds to a minute.. I think it took three to four hours to shoot all the stuff … There’s so many creative minds working together to make this special. I was really lucky, I can’t overstate that enough. Chris Chambers, Christopher Watts, Brian Kunsman, Ryan Katz and Bill DeMott, they were all helping me and gave great suggestions like “Do this. Do that. Turn your head this way.” It’s all intricate stuff it’s stuff that I’ve never done. Ring of Honor had TV, but nothing like this.” \
