Bray Wyatt Update Injury

wrestlemania 31As we noted early Sunday afternoon, Bray Wyatt sprained his ankle prior to WrestleMania, while in the ring preparing for his match with The Undertaker. Apparently Bray was in enough pain that they casted his ankle for several hours, not taking it off until right before he was supposed to go down to the ring.

He worked a dark match after Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown television taping, teaming with Seth Rollins against John Cena and Roman Reigns. A live report did note that he was limited in the ring for the match, which wasn’t all that long, but he was moving around and it doesn’t appear he’ll be taking any time off.

WrestleMania Return to San Jose?

San Jose and Santa Clara officials were apparently so happy with how WrestleMania and all the Axxess events came off this past weekend, they are talking about putting together a massive bid to host the event in the future. It’s likely this wouldn’t happen soon, as WWE doesn’t like to over-saturate a market with their biggest annual event, but the target would be 6-8 years.
