TNA Impact Wrestling Results (4/24) – TKO Night Of Knockouts, The Dollhouse Debuts, Taryn Vs Kong!

Davey Richards vs Manik

Davey and Manik go back and forth with reversals before Davey knocks him outside, then he kicks Manik in the face and rolls him back in. Manik kicks him in the back a few times and stretches him, then Davey comes back with some kicks and a release German suplex for two. Davey heads up top and misses a double stomp, but Manik rolls away and kicks him before going for an underhook slam. Davey rolls through and hits a pop up kick, and ends it with Creeping Death for the win.

Winner – Davey Richards

Khoya and Abyss run out and attack Davey from behind, and Abyss chokeslams him on the side of the ring. He sets up for another chokeslam, but The Hardys run out to make the save. They take Abyss down and whip Khoya into the steps, then they hit Manik with a Twist of Fate, followed by Check Fate.

BP: I like The Wolves working with The Hardys, but I’ve been growing tired of The Revolution. I feel like the group has run it’s course, and the impending Storm/Magnus angle is much more compelling on its own. Good match between Davey and Manik, who would both be good pieces in the X Division.

Ethan Carter III and Tyrus enter the ring, decorated with campaign materials, and he says he wants to be world champion this year. He says he’s been unbeaten for 20 months since debuting and he’s beaten every TNA Hall of Famer there is. Ethan shows a bunch of bar graphs and mocks the crowd, then Ken Anderson cuts him off and says he wanted to tell Ethan he has a hell of a future. Ethan says this is a great endorsement, but Anderson says he doesn’t see him as a World Champion and he needs to shut up and earn it. Anderson says it took him eleven years breaking himself to finally win a world title, then Ethan takes his coat off and asks if Anderson wants to see championship material. They slug it out and Anderson teases a Mic Check, but Ethan runs off and Tyrus follows him.
