Owens Removed From Live Events
NXT Champion Kevin Owens has been removed from the advertisements for this week’s WWE live events, where he was likely to face U.S. Champion John Cena. For those wondering, he has not yet been re-added to the NXT live events around Florida, so it’s not entirely clear what’s going on with Owens this weekend.
As we reported earlier, King Barrett was moved from the Ambrose/Reigns-led live events to the John Cena-captained live events, possibly to compensate for Owens’ absence.
L.U. Stars Coming to Chicago
