According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lucha Underground roster members have been told that filming for season two may begin in September. Many were said to be unhappy recently as they needed to get bookings well ahead of time for August to fill their schedules, but now it’s for certain there won’t be any conflicts next month.
Because the promotion has still not made any official announcements about a second season, let alone confirmed taping dates, there are still those accepting bookings for September. Due to the nature of their contracts, if any dates would fall on a television taping day, Lucha Underground takes first priority and any double-booked talent would have to pull out of their advertised independent appearances.
