Austin Aries/ROH Update
While Austin Aries is scheduled for the July 17th Ring of Honor live event in Las Vegas, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there are, at this time, no plans to feature him on television or major events going forward. This may change, but most of the major angles and spots have already been filled and plotted out from now until the company’s big ‘Final Battle’ PPV in December.
As noted, with the way the landscape has changed in wrestling lately, Aries believes it may be possible to return to TNA and work shows like ROH simultaneously as a free agent, without signing any kind of long-term contracts.
