NXT #1 Contenders
As noted, The Vaudevillians defeated Enzo Amore and Big Cass in the main event of this week’s NXT broadcast on the WWE Network, earning the number one contender’s spot to challenge Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy for the NXT Tag Team Championships.
While they did earn a future title shot, there is currently no word yet on when they will face Blake and Murphy. It could happen at the next NXT Takeover live special in Brooklyn, New York, but is unconfirmed. So far, only a NXT Championship rematch between new champion Finn Balor and former champion Kevin Owens has been made official.
