Tonight’s WWE SummerSlam PPV kicked off with Jon Stewart in the ring, and he welcomed everyone to SummerSlam.
Stewart hyped the matches on tonight’s show and said tonight will be a historic evening.
He then talked about being retired from his Daily Show, and said the difference between WWE and politicians is that WWE respects its audience.
He then said he wanted to come to Brooklyn to tell Brock Lesnar how he feels, because he’s still up set about Lesnar ending the streak, but he needs some help. He then said he had backup, and WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley came out to a big pop.
