AJ Styles Injury Update
It was previously reported that AJ Styles was kept off of last weekend’s Ring Of Honor TV tapings due to an apparent back-related injury.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter gave an update, noting Styles was dealing with a sciatic nerve issue, and he needed time off to rest. Ring Of Honor has said Styles will be back for Final Battle, but Dave Meltzer metioned there’s a possibility Styles is ready for the November 7th New Japan Pro Wrestling event in Osaka.
It was said that Styles injury is not too serious, but he needed time off from bumping in the ring, and this is being considered more of a short rest.
Alberto Del Rio
Newly re-signed WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio has been announced as a replacement for Randy Orton on some tour dates on WWE’s European tour next month. The new United States Champion is subbing for Orton after “The Viper” was sidelined with a shoulder injury last week.
