Read & Watch: Debate On If Curtis Axel Should Be Mad At WWE? Why Alberto Del Rio vs Jack Swagger Is Not Good, European Connection Tag Team

curtis axelToday’s Chair Shot Reality video is a segment of Heel or Face. Three topics are given out by Brian Gulish for Justin LaBar and Josh Isenberg to either heel or face and debate over.

The first topic was Curtis Axel being mad at WWE and sending out tweets about not being used like he should. Here are some highlights of the conversation:

Josh Isenberg:

I’m going to heel this. Shut your mouth. You’re not entertaining. I’d rather open a can of baked beans than look at you because that’s more exciting. I  don’t care about Curtis Axel, Justin. He frustrates me. A guy who thinks he gets his due because his Dad did something. Get to the back of the line kid, earn your spot. I’m heeling Curtis Axel.

Justin LaBar:

Let’s relax here. I’m going to heel him being mad but show some respect. I understand him being frustrated. He’s a guy who has been a team player. He was the guy who is Mr. Safety. They trusted him to work and train with The Rock when The Rock was training for those matches with John Cena. So he was a guy who WWE can trust to put in the ring and take care of The Rock. Here’s my problem Curtis Axel, yes, you’re very good in the ring. Many people in and out of that company who are workers have told me how good you are. But just because you’re good bell-to-bell — as a technician, safe, understand psychology—doesn’t mean you can put butts in the seats. Unfortunately you have the daunting task of being compared to your father, which very few people can live up to that charisma. Maybe we haven’t been given the opportunity to know, but Joe Hennig I don’t know if you can speak on the mic. You were a Paul Heyman guy, and I’m not saying it was your fault, it might have been creative, but it leaves a bad taste.

Josh Isenberg:

He has to dress up as a legend to get a pop. He doesn’t get a pop as a Paul Heyman guy or anything else. The thing that frustrates me is he is relying on his dad being Mr. Perfect so he should get a shot.

Brian Gulish:

If it’s not a storyline, Mr. Axel should be down in NXT.
