As noted, Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America”, along with Triple H, and below are more interview highlights:
-As noted, Brie said her retirement announcement should be coming sometime this summer.
-Brie revealed she once witnessed one of Daniel Bryan’s concussions and it was heartbreaking. She was also aware of his seizures, and Bryan begged her not to tell anyone in WWE about it since he knew they wouldn’t let him wrestle anymore.
-The host tried to bring up wrestling being “fake” but Bryan quickly moved on.
-On the subject of the current concussion lawsuits against WWE, Triple H appeared on the show and said the suits have no merit. He added WWE referees are trained to look out for concussions and injuries while in the ring.
-Triple H said it’s WWE’s job to step in and protect the talents, which is what happened with Daniel Bryan and the company not clearing him to return to the ring.
-Daniel Bryan said he looks forward to working to create concussion awareness in his future.
