This segment of Chair Shot Reality talks Roman Reigns and his match versus Triple H. The guys are on opposite ends with this match. Here’s some highlights:
Brian Gulish:
The problem is going to be getting Roman Reigns over as a face. Everybody was cheering Triple H as he was beating the holy hell out of Reigns. That really goes against it. They could do a turn at WrestleMania or something where The Rock lends a hand to Roman Reigns and he says he doesn’t want it. It’s only going to take one superman punch to The Rock to really make Reigns a heel. Something really has to change in the booking of this match.
Josh Isenberg:
I know they want Roman Reigns to get over and be a big part of their plans moving forward, but after Monday night I said take my money. I was bought into this for two reasons, WrestleMania is the smart fans going. You’re not going to see kids cheering Roman Reigns. Reaction is all WWE needs to do for Roman Reigns versus Triple H. They know he’s not going to be the fan favorite but they know there is a strategic way to do this storyline where it benefits Reigns. I do think Roman Reigns has an opportunity to get a sympathy vote from the crowd. Triple H is the guy with the power pushing the buttons. They need to rely on Triple H bashing the crowd, saying if you don’t like how I’m doing things, go screw yourself. Triple H is a cerebral assassin. He’s been able to consistently put people over at WrestleMania.
