According to ESPN‘s Darren Rovell, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is up for sale, and at least four bidders are reported to have submitted offers.
The named bidders included WME/IMG, China Media Capital, The Blackstone Group and Dalian Wanda Group, and the winning offer, if accepted, is believed to be somewhere between $3.5 billion and $4 billion. ESPN’s report mentioned Dalian Wanda Group is a favorite to have their bid accepted,
UFC Vice President of Public Relations David Sholler commented on the reports, stating:
“As a private company, we don’t discuss speculation or rumors related to our business.”
