During tonight’s NXT television taping at Full Sail University, many fans live in the arena were using the official #NXTFSLIVE hashtag to post pictures and updates from the event in real-time. One major name people were hoping would show up tonight was former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode, who took to Twitter this week with a cryptic teaser.

Unfortunately, there were a few people at Full Sail using the hashtag who, after the TV taping’s main event concluded, starting frantically tweeting about a backstage segment involving Bobby Roode. Whether it was meant to be taken as a joke, or intentional misinformation, the alleged segment with Roode did not in fact take place, despite a few websites picking it up in their coverage of tonight’s event.
So, just to be clear… There was no Bobby Roode at tonight’s NXT television taping.
