Third Match: DJ Zema Ion (c) vs. Trevor Lee w/Andrew Everett for the TNA X-Division Championship
DJZ ducks a clothesline from Lee. DJZ follows that up with a series of forearms. Lee whips DJZ into the ropes. Everett distracts DJZ from the outside. Lee connects with a beautiful dropkick for a one count. Lee launches DJZ to the other side of the ring. Lee applies a rear chin lock. DJZ with a series of back elbows to the gut of Lee. Lee with a hair whip for a one count. Lee backs DJZ into the corner. Lee launches DJZ back first into the corner. Lee goes back to the rear chin lock. Lee with a back elbow to DJZ. Lee tosses DJZ to the outside. Lee goes for a running punt from the ring apron, but DJZ counters by sending Lee face first to the ring apron.
DJZ drops Lee and Everett with the Somersault Plancha. DJZ ascends to the top rope. DJZ connects with the missile dropkick. DJZ with a boot to the face of Lee. DJZ follows that up with a jawbreaker. DJZ with a springboard back elbow. DJZ with a big boot to Everett. Lee drops DJZ with a leaping forearm. DJZ places Lee on the top rope. DJZ plants Lee with a Springboard Frankesteiner. DJZ follows that up with the ZDT to pickup the victory. After the match Andrew Everett storms into the ring and attacks DJZ. The Helm’s Dynasty double teams DJZ. Eddie Edwards storms down to the ring to make the save. Edwards says he and DJZ are buddies and DJZ is what the X Division is all about, but if he’s a fighting champion, how about they face off for that title next week? DJZ accepts Edwards challenge.
