According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, despite Paige and Alberto Del Rio’s in-ring engagement over the weekend, Raymond Rafool, the lawyer representing Alberto Del Rio’s wife, Angela Velkei, is claiming the couple is still legally married. When asked if the divorce between the two had been finalized, Rafool said, “No. They are far from it at this stage.”
He added, “Of course, Paige should watch carefully how Alberto is denying and treating his current wife and the mother of his children in this divorce. History repeats itself.”
Paige’s dad Ricky Knight also reacted to the engagement news by posting a statement on Facebook that reads, “Putting this out there then saying no more, about it to anyone I am totally against my daughter marrying that man statement over.” Knight has since deleted the Facebook message.
