EC3 says that the support from the Impact Zone means alot to him especially with the year he’s had. At Bound for Glory, EC3 suffered the biggest lost in his career, but here he stands your perennial number one contender to the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. EC3 has said alot of things during his time with Impact Wrestling. EC3 has some words for the current TNA World Heavyweight Champion, so he calls out Eddie Edwards. EC3 says that Edwards is having an amazing run with the title right now, so wanted to commended him for that accomplishment especially how he defeated Bobby Lashley. At Bound for Glory, EC3 brought a broad sword and swung it to the high heavens, but he failed. Edwards brought a dagger and stabbed that beast in his heart.
Here Edwards stands with the World Heavyweight Championship, a title that has changed people’s perception of Edwards. That’s true according to Edwards. It’s changed drastically how people look at him, but EC3 knows that he’s the same guy. The same guy that went to parties with him after the shows. Edwards is the man who gives it his all every single time he enters the ring. EC3 says that why this business respects Edwards. Friendship aside, they’re competitors. EC3 failed to capture the TNA World Title twice this year. EC3 assures Edwards, that won’t happen a third time. That’s what Edwards wants. Edwards wants EC3 to bring that passion, fire and emotion.
At Bound for Glory, it wasn’t EC3 night. It’s going to take a special individual to take this title away from Edwards. He doesn’t care what EC3’s last name is, all that matters is who’s holding this world title. EC3 says that Edwards is missing the point. When EC3 enters the ring, his family and friends don’t matter. The only thing that matters to him is that TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Edwards needs to a learn a special lesson. There’s a difference from winning a championship and maintaining your status as champion. That takes a different mentality. EC3 has a dagger.
