Ninth Match: Hulk Hogan vs. Andre The Giant w/Ted DiBiase and Virgil in a Quarter-Final Round Match in the Vacant WWF Championship Tournament 

Hogan storms into the ring, but Andre kicks Hogan in the ribs. Andre headbutts Hogan. Andre lands a knife edge chop in the corner. Andre lands a massive right hand. Andre connects with another headbutt. Hogan tries to knock Andre down with a series of running haymakers. Hogan attacks DiBiase who hops on the ring apron. Hogan gets Andre’s arms trapped in the ropes. DiBiase and Virgil untangle the ropes for Andre.

Hogan with a running clothesline to Andre. Hogan connects with three consecutive elbow drops. Andre gets Hogan in a sleeper hold. Andre stomps on Hogan’s head. Andre rams his knee across the face of Hogan. Andre lands a knife edge chop. Andre chokes Hogan again. Hogan starts fading away. Hogan gets back on his feet and breaks the grip of Andre. Hogan with a series of right hands to Andre.

Hogan with a running corner clothesline to Andre. Virgil hops on the ring apron to distract the referee. DiBiase brings a steel chair into the ring behind the referee’s back. Hogan snatches the chair away from DiBiase. Hogan tosses DiBiase to the outside. Hogan hits Andre with the steel chair afront of the referee. Andre then proceeds to hit Hogan with the chair. Both men are officially disqualified. After the match, Hogan bodyslams Virgil on the ramp. Hogan bodyslams Andre.

Winner: Double Disqualification
