WWE 205 Live Results (8/8): Rich Swann vs TJ Perkins, Noam Darr Returns to In-Ring Action, Akira Tozawa Interviewed & More

– Corey Graves is in the ring and brings out Akira Tozawa for an interview. It seems that he’s managed to shake off a shoulder injury on his path to SummerSlam. Cruiserweight Champion Neville makes his way out before Tozawa can even say anything, and wants to know why nobody is interviewing the man who truly matters. He once again claims that the challenger is not on the “Neville Level” but Tozawa has heard enough talking and starts throwing things around. Neville makes fun of his English and eventually the two go at it, with Tozawa getting the upper hand and posing with the title.

3. TJ Perkins def. Rich Swann. This was a pretty good main event match despite the crowd being totally dead throughout. They went back and forth both guys looking for anything to put the other away. Swann tried for the Phoenix Splash but came up empty. Perkins dropped him hard on the turnbuckles and hit the Detonation Kick for the win.

– TJP did some dabbing and trash talking after the match. They cut backstage after the show and Perkins found Swann, wanting to known if if he’s still being a sore loser about the whole thing. Swann said it was never about winning or losing, it was about respect and how he handled himself out there. He said he’s starting to understand who TJP really is, and left him standing there alone.
