WWE United Kingdom Championship

Pete Dunne (c) vs Tyler Bate

Dunne takes Bate down early before going for a test of strength between the two, then they go back and forth a bit with strikes and ground holds. After a few more vicious strikes and uppercuts, including a spot where Bate looks to have disclocated a finger after Dunne stomps it, Bate mounts a big comeback that includes several rolling uppercuts and a running shooting star press. Bate airplane spins Dunne and stops, then powers back up and does it two more times before falling to the mat and getting a two count. Bate slams him on the mat and stomps Dunne’s head several times, then goes for a stepover kick but Dunne hits Bitter end for a near fall. Bate hits the ropes off of the pin attempt and clotheslines him, but Dunne rebounds and cracks him with a big lariat and both men hit the mat.

Both men get up and duke it out, then Bate goes to the apron and strikes Dunne before heading up top. Bate comes off the top rope and Dunne catches him with a sit out powerbomb. Dunne can’t believe Bate kicked out, then they head outside and Dunne whips him into the ropes, but Bate bounces back and drops him with a forearm shot. Bate gets him back in and gets yet another near fall off of a tilt-a-whirl slam, then he heads up top and connects with a splash for another close near fall. Bate goes for an avalanche release suplex off the top rope, but Dunne counters and rolls through, then hits The Bitter End for the hard fought win.

Winner – Pete Dunne
