In Ring Segment: Elias
Elias says WWE stands for “Walk With Elias”. Today is a special day. Elias sings a song about it being Elvis Presley’s birthday and how he doesn’t care. He doesn’t care because Miz is back. Miz and the Miztourage join Elias in the ring. Miz asks the crowd if they missed him. Miz welcomes everyone to Miz TV. Miz says he is back on Monday Night Raw. In his absence, he was not forgotten. He is the glue that holds this show together. Miz puts over Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel for carrying the torch while he was gone. They are living embodiments of a New Years resolution going right. Axel and Dallas thank Miz for everything he has done for them.
Dallas and Axel start a thank you Miz chant. Dallas gives Miz a framed photo of Miz. Dallas mumbles that it’s going to be hard getting to sleep tonight with it. Miz says, “what?” Axel, not to be outdone, give Miz his sports coat. Dallas gives Miz his watch. Miz tells them both to sit down and shut up. In 2017 Miz held the Intercontinental title for 217 days. Miz runs down all of his accomplishments. Miz says he has not forgotten about the Shield powerbomb him through the announce table. Miz says the champion make the title. In 2018 he will celebrate the birth of his daughter and he will become the longest reigning IC champion ever. Miz looks at the camera and says he hopes Reigns enjoyed the time he allowed Reigns to hold the IC title. It’s over.
