Stephanie McMahon announced that Alexa Bliss will defend the women’s championship in the first-ever woman’s Elimination Chamber match. Bliss will face Bayley, Mandy Rose, Mickie James, Sonya Deville, and Sasha Banks. Nia Jax isn’t in the match but that is because Angle has other plans for her. Jax will fax Asuka at Elimination Chamber. If Jax wins, she will be added to the championship match at WrestleMania, making it a triple threat. Bliss comes to the ring and tells Angle that what he is doing is wrong. Bliss says the rules say things should be equal between the men and the women.

Why does Universal Champion Brock Lesnar get to sit on sidelines while Bliss has to defend against five other people at the PPV? Is it because she is just a woman? Angle says Lesnar defended his title at the Royal Rumble and Bliss hasn’t defended since October. Bliss says Angle is sexist. Angle says he has no idea what she is trying to pull. Angle says it never dawned on him to compare Bliss and Lesnar. Angle says he thinks Bliss is just trying to get out of the match but he will leave it to the crowd. Angle asks the crowd if they want to see her defend at the PPV. The crowd breaks into a huge yes chant.
