Adam Brooks defeated Brody King
– King is a local from Van Nuys and was very over with the crowd being part of the Bar Wrestling promotion. King was a late replacement for Matt Sydal
Dalton Castle defeated “Bad Boy” Joey Janela
– Lots of comedy in the match not a ton of action. Castle hits the Bangarang after about 15 minutes. “The Boys” were not his regulars so seeing out of shape guys playing the roles was pretty funny.
Travis Banks defeats David Starr
My second time seeing Starr and he’s growing on me. Brooks was pretty good winning a back and forth match.
Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Flip Gordon
– Sabre won via submission. Sabre was great as always heeling the crowd. Sabre spent the match trying to ground the spot monkey Gordon with submission moves.
“Limitless” Keith Lee defeated Matt Riddle
– Intense hard hitting bout with Riddle bumping around like super ball. Lee chopped Riddle so hard his chest started bleeding. They hit the mat so hard that the plywood popped up and a large lump was in the center of the ring.
Chuck Taylor defeated Trent Baretta
– Hard hitting match with both looking to have injured themselves early. Taylor appeared to be favoring his shoulder. Trent started favoring one of his arms. Taylor busted Trent open hard way on the corner eyebrow. During the match Taylor turned heel on his best friend, hitting Trent with the PWG title belt and low blowed him for the pinfall. I assume this angle is just for PWG and will not affect their teaming in Ring of Honor or New Japan Pro Wrestling.
