The severity of the tear has not yet been confirmed but Mysterio was examined this week by doctors. The report notes that Mysterio has movement in the arm that he would not have if it was a complete tear.
The injury could be a critical road block for the world famous luchador who was reportedly being eyed for a massive WWE return at this year’s Wrestlemania in New Orleans. The prospective match could see Mysterio face John Cena. It is unclear if that match is still in the works, now with this current injury just weeks before the mega-show in ‘the Big Easy’. Mysterio made a surprise cameo in January’s Royal Rumble, garnering much speculation about a full-time return to WWE.
