Back in the ring, Ciampa and Gargano have a tug of war over the crutch. Gargano wins and hits Ciampa with the crutch over and over again. Ciampa dumps Gargano to the outside. Ciampa sticks his head between the ropes and Gargano beans him with the crutch. Springboard DDT by Gargano. Ciampa kicks out. Gargano takes the turnbuckle pad off. Ciampa sends Gargano into the pad. Gargano is on the apron. Gargano tries the diving spear again. Ciampa knee Gargano in the head in midair. Spinout powerbomb by Ciampa. Gargano kicks out! Ciampa mocks their old #DIY poses before hitting a one-man Meet in the Middle. Gargano kicks out. Gargano clubs Ciampa with punishing clotheslines. Ciampa gets hit with the reverse ranna. Gargano puts Ciampa in the Gargano Escape. Ciampa gets to the ropes but there is no rope break! Ciampa rips at Gargano’s eyes to force him to release the hold. Ciampa tries to wrap hit tape around Gargano’s neck. Gargano avoids it. Gargano and Ciampa are now attached to each other by Ciampa’s tape. Ciampa and Gargano trade punches. Ciampa kicks Gargano in the nuts, hits him with the crutch, then hits a powerbomb into a lung blower! Gargano kicks out. Ciampa is on his knees. Gargano tries to pull himself to his feet.
Ciampa bad mouths Gargano. Gargano slaps Ciampa in the face. Superkick by Gargano. Gargano lawn darts Ciampa into the exposed turnbuckle. Basement head kick by Gargano! Ciampa kicks out! Gargano goes up top. Ciampa cuts him off. Ciampa puts Gargano on his shoulder while on the second rope. Gargano elbows his way out of it. Gargano punches Ciampa. Ciampa grabs Gargano and hit the powerbomb lung blower of the SECOND ROPE!!! Gargano musters up enough energy to kick out at 2.9. Ciampa is clutching at his knee. Ciampa takes off his knee brace. Ciampa exposes his knee. Ciampa goes for a running knee but Gargano hits Ciampa in the knee with Ciampa’s own knee brace. Gargano breaks the crutch in half and is about to stab Ciampa in the head with it. Gargano stops. Ciampa looks up at Gargano. Gargano drops the crutch and sits down next to Ciampa. Ciampa tries to hit Gargano with the brace. Gargano ducks and puts Ciampa in the Gargano escape. Ciampa reaches for the brace to try to hit Gargano. Gargano grabs the brace and grapevines Ciampa’s legs while choking him with his own brace. Gargano wrenches all the way back. Ciampa taps out immediately!
Winner- Johnny Gargano
After the match, Candice runs to the ring and embraces Gargano. Gargano has been reinstated back into NXT.
