WWE Files Trademark For Classic WCW Event

PWInsider is reporting that the WWE filed for trademark of “The Great American Bash.”

Originally a Jim Crockett Promotions event back in 1988, Ted Turner and WCW took hold of the name to use for their annual late summer PPVs. WWE has since used it in several variations for several different functions.
